Just wanted to post a quick update on Beeville wide out Waydale Jones. Picked up an offer from San Diego State recently. North Carolina and Vanderbilt have been thrown in the mix for the talented South Texas wide receiver. Currently holds offers from UTSA, Texas State, and SDSU. Long story short. UTSA has a great shot at landing Jones IF North Carolina and Vanderbilt do not offer. I asked him if he had an official planned to UTSA.
"It's an I don't know at the moment because I'm not sure if Vandy wants me to visit on the 28th. We talked about it, but it's still a 50/50 if they (Vanderbilt) are going to invite me on an official visit they said. If they don't then I'll visit UTSA on the 28th, but as of right now, I'm not too sure."
If Vanderbilt invited him for a visit they will most likely offer him. If they offer he likely ends up there. If they do not and UTSA lands that visit on the 28th of January there is a good chance he's a Roadrunner.

Forgot to add this last night. I asked Jones how things between him and UTSA were going and if UTSA was in contact with him, "Yes sir, we stay in touch." he said.
