SAN ANTONIO — UTSA will hold a grand opening for the Roadrunner Athletics Center of Excellence (RACE) at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 4, on Main Campus. Media members are invited to cover the event, which will include speakers, a ribbon cutting, tours and a reception.
The opening of RACE is a milestone in the university’s strategic vision to create a central hub for UTSA Athletics and further promote the academic success, health, wellness and performance of the university’s student-athletes. The new facility will help enhance UTSA’s competitiveness in recruiting and retaining the nation’s best student-athletes and coaches.
