UTSA squares up with another tough game today versus UAB at the Convo this afternoon with a 2 pm tip off time.
UAB is 6-3 in CUSA coming off a loss to UTEP Thursday night. A win today would be huge for UTSA and could possibly be the start of a 3 possible 4 game win streak with FIU and Florida Atlantic coming up.
UTSA has the height advantage coming into today's game. UABs team average in height is 6-4. I'd expect our guys to execute a similar game plan like we saw in the second half against MT. Kaj and Hill were absolute studs Thursday night. Hill recording a double double and Kaj contributing 20pts to the score board. I'd like to see a little more production from our bench,
UTSA should be cautious on defense as UAB is CUSAs leader in FTs. Defending the ball without fouling will be huge for us if this game ends up coming down to the wire. A couple of guys on the UAB squad to keep an eye on is #4 Robert Brown (13.6ppg) & #25 C.J. Washington (8.3ppg).
